We had to cut off the top of the tomato plants as they got damaged by the frost. We had them covered, but it must have been a strong frost and still damaged them. They look like they will do just fine. But we will watch and see how it affects them this year.
It will grow ok but you loose a lot of tomatoes from that top end (especially if they are cherry tomatoes. Last year I unknowingly broke off a couple of top stems and realized from the others that there are a lot on the top end (the ones on top are the end of season crop). Enjoy!
